Board-certified surgeon Dr. Vincenzo Sabella has been serving the obstetric and gynecological needs of women like you for more than 30 years.
On the obstetrics side, Dr. Sabella delivers expert, attentive care for normal and high-risk pregnancies. He focuses on personalized care that ensures a safe and healthy delivery. In addition, he has decades of experience helping couples overcome infertility issues.
On the gynecology side, he offers annual examinations and pap smears as well as a plethora of surgical care and treatment of gynecological conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, vaginal prolapse, and trans-abdominal cerclage for recurrent pregnancy loss due to cervical incompetence. He helps patients manage menopause symptoms and infectious diseases such as herpes and HPV-related conditions.
For your convenience, there is an in-office lab and ultrasound center with specialized technicians who can perform routine testing, diagnostics, and follow-up or maintenance procedures. Lauren Guehl is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Womens Health Nurse Practitioner with nearly 20 years experience. She specializes in women's health and low-risk pregnancy.
Board-certified surgeon Dr. Sabella specializes in vaginal deliveries and C-sections for normal and high-risk pregnancies. He also specializes in infertility evaluation and treatment, as well as laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgeries – including pelvic floor reconstruction (vaginal rejuvenation), vaginal prolapse repair, and tubal ligation reversals.
Lauren and Dr. Sabella met at St. Lukes Hospital in 2010. After working at separate practices for the past 13 years, they decided to join forces to create Sabella Women’s Health in 2024 in San Antonio, Texas.
They have different personalities and styles, and bring together a unique, fun, collaborative approach!
